Spring 2025 Newsletter Highlights Trust-Wide Achievements and Initiatives

The Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust is thrilled to announce the publication of our Spring 2025 Newsletter, providing a wonderful overview of the accomplishments and developments across our family of schools during this Easter term.

In her welcome message, CEO Mrs. Piesse reflects on the season's theme of hope, renewal, and joy, noting that "This term has been filled with many positive moments, and we are excited to share them with you in our Spring newsletter. It has truly been a season of growth, marked by remarkable achievements across the board."

The newsletter features detailed updates from each of our unique schools, showcasing the diverse and vibrant educational experiences being offered across the Trust. Highlights include Christ the Sower's prestigious STEM project collaboration with The British Council and Formula One, St John's groundbreaking solar panel installation, and numerous engaging World Book Day celebrations that fostered creativity and a love of reading. These examples, along with all the other wonderful news, showcase our schools' commitment to providing rich, well-rounded educational experiences that develop both academic ability and character.

The publication also includes updates from our Shared Services Team, covering school improvement strategies, HR developments, financial management, and operational enhancements that support our educational mission. We also give special welcome to our new CFO, Rachel Brown, who some of you may already know from her previous role as Financial Accounting Partner for ODBST. Rachel brings valuable experience and insight to the Trust in her new role.

We invite all members of our community to read the newsletter and join us in celebrating the achievements of our pupils and staff. The Spring 2025 Newsletter really illustrates our commitment to "empowering unique schools to excel together" and illustrates how our shared values of Service, Inclusivity, Community, and Empowerment are being lived out daily across the Trust.
